From 1 December, Frans Ober will serve as the new General Manager of Autobedrijf Noteboom, a dealer for the brands Hyundai, Mitsubishi, Citroën and DS that has three branch locations in the Rotterdam region. He will succeed Arie Hartog, who is retiring.
Noteboom is part of AutoBinck Car Distribution & Retail (ACDR) and has locations in Rotterdam, Spijkenisse and Barendrecht. Niek Hertsenberg, CEO of ACDR says: “Frans Ober is an automotive retailer through and through and has been working within the AutoBinck Group for the past nine years. He is an effective manager and an experienced contract partner for importers. From our perspective, this makes him the ideal choice to succeed Arie Hertog. His knowledge and experience are extremely valuable to the organisation.”
VMD Groep
Prior to this, Frans Ober served as General Manager of the BMW and Mini dealer VMD Groep, which AutoBinck sold to Dusseldorp Automotive at the end of October. “This new appointment within AutoBinck Group is an exciting step and the position itself is both interesting and challenging. I look forward to continuing the successful policy Arie has set out for us.”
Welverdiend pensioen
Well-deserved retirement
Arie Hartog can look back at a long career with ACDR. “Now he'll be enjoying his much-deserved retirement,” says Hertsenberg. “We have Hartog to thank for setting up the dealer activities in the Rotterdam region. Everyone there knows him and he always ran the businesses as though they were his own. An impeccable track record with good results.” Arie Hartog has been affiliated with Noteboom since 1987 and is now wrapping up his career as General Manager. “I am grateful to AutoBinck Group for all the trust and freedom I was given to further develop their companies. I have every confidence in my successor and wish him the very best of luck.”
During the month of December, Frans Ober and Arie Hartog will take time to properly hand over the reins. After that, Arie Hartog will officially retire on 01 January 2023.
