Moove Connected Mobility has earned ISO 27001 certification, demonstrating it meets the international standard for information security. Clients of Moove, top expert in the field of automotive telematics, place increasing value on working with a partner who is ISO 27001-certified. This was not, however, the only reason for pursuing certification.
Henk Kooijman, Managing Director of Moove Connected Mobility: “Our motivation to earn this certification was largely intrinsic, as we work with client data day in and day out. We have an obligation to consistently handle that data as carefully as we can, and to structure our processes to ensure the highest possible degree of security.”
ISO 27001 is the international standard in connection with information security. The standard specifies requirements for the establishment, implementation, operation, control, evaluation, maintenance and improvement of a documented Information Security Management System (ISMS).
Intensive cooperation
Moove Connected Mobility began implementing the requirements for ISO 27001 certification at the end of last year. In preparation for the certification audit, Moove cooperated intensively with consultants from Compleye, an organisation which specialises in compliance.
Optimum assurance with regard to data security
The ISO standard has always been a subject of attention at Moove Connected Mobility. According to Henk Kooijman: “We have established a framework in which we sit down with relevant stakeholders once a month to discuss action points and deadlines. The digital infrastructure we use for that purpose has effectively made ISO standards a natural part of our operations as well. Certification affirms those results, along with our continual efforts to provide optimum assurance with regard to data security.”
